The blatant disrespectful behavior of multiple members on this forum has gone too far. As of tonight (12/09/09) several new policies are being implemented.

1) Absolutely no personal attacks against other members of this forum and of people involved in the AOE community as a whole.

2) Threads are to stay on topic at all times. Threads that get off topic will be cleaned up of all off topic material. This material will either be deleted or moved to another thread.

3) Infractions that are deemed minor will be handled in the following manor:

First Offense: Warning
Second Offense: 1 Day Ban
Thrid Offense: 2 Day Ban
Fourth Offense: 4 Day Ban
Fifth Offense: 8 Day Ban
Sixth Offense: 16 Day Ban
Seventh Offense: 1 Month Ban
Eighth Offense: Permanent Ban

4) Infractions that are deemed major will be handled in the following manor:

First Offense: 7 Day Ban
Second Offense: 1 Month Ban
Third Offense: Permanent Ban

All classification of infraction are at the sole discretion of the site administrators
(Allbinx, Dr. Dreadloc, and myself). Major infractions do count against your minor
infraction limit. All members of this forum are starting out with a clean slate.

@ Sapikles: I don't care if you like dread, allbinx, anyone else on this forum, or me. However, some level of respect must be given so the forum does not become just one big flame war.



@ Spunk: If the only reason people come to this forum is to flame and attack other people, then I would rather not have a forum.

The point of this forum was to share recording and ideas about AOE. There is defiantly room for some fun and joking around with each other, but it has gone way past that point. From what I gathered from reading threads last night was that 50-75% of new posts were nothing but flaming.


To everyone: Disagree with something someone posted if you dont think the point they are trying to make is valid, but stop with all of the person attacks. I would hope most everyone knows how to separate the two. Also, stop destroy every thread with off-topic posts, make new threads instead.

@ Tom: No you can't say they suck. That is nothing but a personal attack. However, if you point out reasons why the recording sucked or whatever point they were trying to make sucked then there is no problem.

Great news!! You might find people actually want to contribute now.
